our team

Daniel is a young architect, having obtained his license in 2018 after 10 years of work experience after college.  He is licensed in New Mexico and Texas. He graduated with a Master’s in Architecture from the University of New Mexico in 2008.  After school, he started working with distinguished architecture firm Autotroph. Here is where he gained experience with working on large multi-family projects to working with the city of Santa Fe on local government projects to working on unique projects like renowned art museum Meow Wolf. In 2013, he continued freelance work with Autotroph but also worked with Martinez Design Group and with EDA architects and Zero Zero architects.

His experience has been broad, gaining knowledge on various project types from multi-family, government, single family, commercial, office, institutional and churches. In 2019, he started his own firm after moving to Texas to continue the MDG legacy. His specialty and focus is designing for the user experience. Integrating indoor/outdoor spaces that promote enjoyment for the inhabitants along with creating aesthetically pleasing environments. He also focuses on creating detailed and eye-catching graphics for clients, utilizing new technology that allows the client to experience and navigate through a fully rendered building in real time in a virtual setting.

Yesenia received her B.S. in Architecture in 2010 from the University of Texas-San Antonio and then went back in 2015 for her Masters in Business with a concentration in Project Management.

She has been drawing floor plans since she was in middle school but it wasn’t until after she received her Bachelor’s that she  got to start working with clients and doing what she enjoys.  She has been doing drafting and design since then and has had the opportunity to work on a large variety of projects; from small residential and commercial remodels, and now with Five-Ten Architecture she has gotten the opportunity to work on larger scale commercial buildings and multi-residential buildings.

She has many hobbies but her favorite ones include spending time with her family, being out in nature, playing with their dogs, and traveling, even if it is just a short drive through the country backroads.

Louis has nearly 40 years of architectural design experience as well as master planning and project management having worked for Architect, Bernabe Romero, EDA Architects and Zero-Zero Architects.

Louis also has construction experience having a GB 98 contractor’s license who just finished his 9 year program being an SBA Small Business Administration 8(A) Minority business.

His experience includes design/build projects for both private and federal government projects.

With such experience his skills vary greatly across architectural design and construction which also include being involved in working closely with various building and development committees.

Louis is also a distinguished artist that has work displayed as a permanent installation in the Smithsonian.  He takes his art to the design process where he specializes in hand drawn presentation drawings in ink and airbrush.
